T-Mobile Contract Extension and the New Tricross

T-Mobile has announced that it will remain the a part of the T-Mobile Cycling team. They will remain connected to the team till 2010. This is really all the news I have to tell you today. I do have a product review though. The all new 2008 Specialized Tricross Expert has been released. I have recently been able to ride this all new bike. It has a carbon fork and seat stays. The seat stays also come with the zertz insert to reduce the vibrations while riding. It also a FSA Sl-k MegaExo crank set. This bike also has mainly sram rival componentry to go with the FSA crankset. This bike rides very smooth and is very fast. Ill tell you what this bike will dominate any road bike on a dirt road. I give it a 8 out of 10 on my rating scale. The only flaws I would like to see changed is that specialized produce a full carbon tricross and also provide the bike with a better componentry line.

Vandenbroucke and Pictures

I will have pictures for you soon of the last post I made referring to the Specialized Epic. I also have one of the brain system. Well cycling was pretty slow today, but I went a ride myself. It was pretty intense. Any ways about he only new is that Vandenbroucke is now said to be "out of danger" after a apparent suicide attempt. He is going through a rough time and I hope he can over come his troubles. I will return tomorrow with hopefully more news on anything but cyclist was just slow on this fine Friday afternoon.

Specialized Epic

The Epic MTB from Specialized. Maybe the coolest new MTB out on the market. This thing is gonna dominate the XC races. Specialized has created the Brain system for the rear shock. It works just like the terralogic from fox shocks if your wondering. If you have no clue what I'm talking about well I'll put it in lamans terms. The brain works by locking the rear shock when the rider is pedaling. When terrain changes the lockout will cease and the shock will be fully functional. When I tested this new tech out I was quite satisfied. With the combination of the fox shock with terralogic in the front creates one mean XC bike. The components will vary from model to model but they are all work up to my standards for an XC bike for the price of the model. If I could buy one now I would but I still own my Scott Scale so. If you like what you hear about the Epic go to specialized.com for more information.
