Giro and Park

I am really sorry I had to leave me blog for a short break but I have returned. I would like to say congrats to Di Luca for maintaining his lead in the Giro while I was away. Also I would liketo recommend a product that I used this weekend. The Chainbrite for Park Tool is getting my star of aproval as a chain maintiance product. It will clean and briten your bike chain to new. I was very satisifed when I used it to clean my chains on my bicycles this memorial weekend. Also it makes a great combo when used in Park Tools' Cyclone Chain Cleaner tool.

Steroids and the Giro

Today Danilo Di Luca won stage 12 today and also regained the overall lead. I felt this would happen sooner or later, thanks to the tremendous start the Liquigas team had. With 3 racers in the top 4 places is a very fearful thing to see. Specially since I am a CSC fan myself. Today I have also learned that two more cyclist have come out and reported that they used steroids. This is very upsetting since that in the past week there has been a large number of theses reports coming out. Today it was Erik Zabel and Rolf Aldag admitting. This is such a major problem and every one knows this. It is a contagious disease within pro cycling. Once one person takes it and becomes a major force it cause others to take it so that they can compete with this person. And for the Landis case if he did do it he should come clean cause his image has already been damaged enough. But I am on his side if he didn't take it I'm routing for him cause he is a fellow American and I am a fan of his anyway.

WELCOME

I would like to thank www.blogger.com for letting my blog to operate. I would like to congradulate Alessandro Petacchi in his third stage win in the Giro today. He has come back a long way from his injury in 2006. Today he accomplished the feat of beating the likes of Thor Hushovd and Robbie McEwen. Even with the impressive stage win today for Alessandro, Andre Noe' still maintains the lead by a gap of 1 min and 8 secs to Marzio Bruseghin of the Lampre team. Also recently there has been a lot of hype for the all new line of components from Sram. I have heard that the new line will be given the title of Red group. This new line is said to be the new high end road components. More info on the red group visit this address: http://www.velonews.com/news/fea/12268.0.html.
